In February, i was preparing to move to Rotterdam to study as an Exchange student there. I couldn’t arrange any room. One of my friend suggested me registering to the couchsurfing. Wolfram Alpha - "Sounds like graduation!"

Stephen Wolfram chief executive of Wolfram Research found new search engine that answers your queries in a Mathematical Approach. Also, it’s considered as a Google & Wikipedia combination. Wolfram Alpha can be potential threat for Google and teachers.What the hell is theacher ? Well.. The search engine provide calculating scientific equations such as determining molecular weight, some calculus problems, etc. As a Math student, i’m looking forward to face the next competition between me and my calculus teacher. Many people think that Wolfram Alpha can make the students lazy but can graduate too. Regarding some interesting searches; first i typed sin69 and Wolfram Alpha showed the equality with cosinus, all integral representation, decimal approximation, multiple – argument formulas and some series’ form inc. Taylor. The other interesting part is searching foods and drinks. When you type “spaghetti”, you will see all materials of spaghetti, amount of protein, total carbonhydrates, percentage of vitamins, total fat, calories etc. And these amounts are calculated according to average for all kind of spaghetti. Wolfram Alpha is optimistic for some searches.When you type “11 September”, it shows birthday of William H. Natcher, instead of famous 11 September attacks. Furthermore, if you type a date, you can see the official days, time of sunrise and sunset, duration of sun and phase of moon in your current city. Finally, there’s no language support. It can understand but can not speak. Needs practice=)
